Responsible management of financial resources is perhaps the most common factor that separates sport and recreation clubs that are successful from those that are either less successful or those that no longer exist
The Committee should keep members well informed of the results of its activities and account for all monies. The Treasurer is responsible for the day-to-day management of the organisation’s financial resources and establishing procedures, however it is every committee member’s role to safeguard the club’s finances.
