Imports

As mentioned in the introduction to the Administrator Guide, the Imports option is only visible if Pureservice is installed on-premise. In order to reduce the time spent administrating Pureservice manually, you can use imports to copy data from other systems into the helpdesk. The purpose of imports is to automate the collection of data, e.g. importing users from a directory service.

Each import listed here can be edited, enabled/disabled or deleted.

Edit import

Press the tools button to edit an import. You can read more about editing imports in the subchapter: Imports – Edit import.

Enable / disable import

It is possible to deactivate/disable an import without removing it completely from the help desk. Simply press “Off” to do so. To activate/enable the import again, press “On” .

The background colours of the buttons indicate whether an import is enabled or disabled. If an import is enabled, the background colour of the “On” button is green. If an import is disabled, the background colour of the “Off” button is dark grey.

Delete import

Press to delete an import permanently.
