Organizations now have the ability to restrict their users from downloading or printing files in EPC, by managing the authorization options of users or groups in the ‘System Admin’ section.

How it Works
- Change Advanced Settings: Download and Print authorizations are disabled by default. System Admins must set the DOCUMENT_CONTROLLED_COPIES field to true in the Advanced settings for these authorizations to apply.
- Manage Authorizations: Authorizations for download and print can be managed through users or groups. Existing users and groups with ‘Latest’ permission will be granted the download and print authorizations by default.
- Downloading & Printing: Users with authorization must provide a comment explaining why they need to print when they download files.

Additional Information
- A log is generated for all downloads, and a report is available.
- All previews are now unprintable by default to avoid formatting inconsistencies with the original documents.
