In the dynamic landscape of process management, it’s common for processes to evolve over time. However, this evolution can sometimes lead to misalignment between the documented process and its current implementation. To address this challenge, users can create Change Requests (CRs) specifically tailored to out-of-sync processes. CRs enable users to propose modifications and updates, ensuring that the documented process accurately reflects its real-world implementation.

How to Create a Change Request for Out of Sync Processes:

  1. Navigate to the Diagram or Details view of an out of sync process.
  2. Open the ‘Warning: Versions Out of Sync’ action box.
  3. Select the specific object(s) that require modification to address the out-of-sync issues.
  4. Click on the ‘Create Change Request’ button to begin the process of generating a Change Request for the selected changes.
  5. Optionally, provide additional context or information about the proposed changes by adding a comment to the Change Request.
  6. Click ‘Apply
  7. The newly created Change Request will appear in the collaboration window. The CR is automatically approved, and all selected objects are listed for review.
  8. Ensure that all proposed changes are incorporated into the next version of the process by editing the process accordingly. This step ensures alignment between the documented process and its real-world implementation.
