7.2 Confirmation

Upon completion of the approval cycle by all approvers, stakeholders (Modelers, Admins) will receive notifications in EPC and via email. These notifications will inform them that the object has been successfully approved, indicating that it is now ready for publishing.

After publishing, users can confirm acknowledgements of the changes made to objects. To receive confirmation tasks, users need to be assigned to the object through RASCI-VS.

*This confirmation cycle is crucial for ensuring that users who utilize documents, participate in processes, or follow certain policies for example are made aware of changes. This helps maintain compliance and keeps all relevant parties informed and up-to-date.

How to Access Confirmations

1. Access the confirmation request through the email notification or through the To Do module.
2. Open the ‘Confirmation Pending’ action box.
3. If this is not the first published version, use the ‘Show Changes Since My Last Confirmation’ button to view added data in green and removed data in red.
4. Input your comment in the text box.
5. Click the ‘Confirm’ button.

New Resources Added to Roles

New resources added to roles associated with already published objects will still receive confirmation notifications. This ensures they acknowledge and confirm the objects their role is assigned to with RASCI-VS, without needing to republish.

*This feature facilitates quick onboarding of new resources into their roles and allows organizations to easily track and report that everyone is aware of critical corporate policies and their respective work procedures, reinforcing compliance.
