EPC’s review cycle has undergone significant improvements and new functionalities for organizations to benefit from more granular control and more possibilities of customization on their Review cycles.
Choosing the Reviewer
It is now possible to select the reviewer from users assigned to the object through RASCI-VS, or by selecting any role or resource, providing organizations with greater flexibility in choosing the most suitable person for the review. This data is viewable in the new ‘Reviewer’ column.
Setting the Cycle Start Date, Deadline, and Frequency
Organizations can now customize the start date of their review cycles and track it through the new ‘Review Start Date’ column.
Additionally, organizations can set a ‘Review Deadline,’ establishing a fixed date by which users are required to complete their reviews.
The ‘Review Frequency’ can now be configured to any desired number of days, offering organizations unparalleled adaptability.
Viewing the Cycle Status
There’s also a new ‘Review Status’ column in the Governance module, enabling to easily view the objects that are reviewed or pending. The ‘reviewed’ status will remain until the next review cycle begins.
Reviewing an Object
When reviewing an object on the latest published version, there is now an option to either complete the review or initiate a Change Request (CR). Opting for the latter will automatically open a Collaboration Topic for further discussion and enhancement suggestions.
