13.2.2 Text Generation and Improvement

Whether you’re working on step-by-step guides, rule and system descriptions, policies, or documentation templates, our AI is designed to provide suggestions and generate dynamically editable content tailored to your needs.

How to Generate Text or Improve Existing Documentation

*Make sure the AI_FEATURES_IN_UI advanced setting is set to ‘generate’, ‘improve’, or ‘generate, improve’ for the features to appear. For detailed instructions on these settings, please click here.

1. Access any rich text field in EPC.
2. In the toolbar, select ‘Ask AI’
3. Choose from the following options:
   • Generate Content
   • Improve Content
   • Summarize Content
   • Make Shorter
   • Make Longer
     
4. If you choose to generate content, a dialog box will appear.
5. Input your content request.
   

   **Tip: You can even request tailored best practices specific to your particular operating systems, countries, or custom requirements. The more detailed your request, the more precisely the AI can craft text meeting your unique needs.

   
   

6. Click the paper plane button to initiate text generation.
7. During text generation, you can:
   • Use the ‘Stop’ button to pause and modify your request or the generated text.
     
   • After completion, you can modify your request, try text generation again, or edit the generated text.
     
8. When satisfied with the text, select ‘Insert’ to add it to the rich text field.
