In one line: Pick which parts of your look — colors, images, mascots, sounds — travel with a shared game.

You might call it: share settings, keep my theme, “my colleague got a plain game.”

Your themed game should arrive themed. The Share Settings tab locks in the look for everyone you share with. Choose which customizations from Game Design and Display settings you want to share — and whether to include your custom mascots and sounds.

Where it is

Open the Share dialog (any door works: How to Share a Game), then click the Share Settings tab.

Choose what travels

Press the + button next to each heading to expand its options.

Under Game Design Settings, select the boxes of the settings you wish to share: background image, background color, game board color, question tile color, tile points color (the old page said “dollar amount color”), and text color. Or use Select all to share all settings.

Click on the Display Settings heading to expand the box and see the options.

Sharing custom mascots and sounds

Two extra checkboxes cover your custom mascots and custom sounds. Check a box to include them when you share a game.

Press Save when you’ve selected all the options you want to share.

What recipients see — and what they can copy

  • Everything you tick arrives with the game. Anything unticked is not shared.
  • A game shared to a person lands in their Shared With Me tab, ready to play.
  • Want them to have an editable copy? On any paid (Pro) plan, they click Copy in Shared With Me, and the copy lands in their My Games — theirs to restyle.
  • Don’t want copies floating around? Business accounts can block copying with Prevent copying of games under Customize → Business Mode. That blocks even collaborators and content authors. Details: Business Modes.
