Overview

Kramer Control has the ability to control the IMC-100C/BRIC and IMC-100T Motors via Network gateway communicating via Port 23 of your Network. The steps below explain how to import the proper device and create an Interface layout to control these motors.

Process

  1. Launch Builder
  2. Import Device

Once the Device popup appears in your Builder window, select the option to Add a Device from the database and enter Converging Systems in the Manufacturer field. Select the Screen Type – Model IMC-100C/BRIC, IM-100T and choose the option to ADD.

Create Address “ for Shades and/or Screens that will be controlled. The Address is a 3 digit address separated by a “.” The first value is the Zone, second value is the Group and the third value is the Node.

Add Button widget to Interface. Within this example, we have added Blank Buttons with text indicating the capability to be executed

Add commands to the Button widgets that were created. Drag and Drop command to button, then identify the parameters within the popup

Gateway

Within Hardware tab, choose the option to create a new gateway

Provide a name for your hardware gateway and choose the option to Add Network Gateway

Enter IP address of the Converging Systems hardware, and choose the option to Create

Drag and Drop device to center pane section entitled Drop Compatible Device Here
