We have been notified of issues with the KUpload firmware update procedure. The issues that have been reported:

  • Uploading through TCP there is a loss of connection to the SL device
  • UDP timeout after minutes of uploading
  • UDP update taking an inordinate amount of time to upload

What should I do if this happens?

If you have noticed any of the above issues we recommend power cycling the SL hardware and installing the unit on an active Internet network.


If your Brain is running the v1.0.6 version of the software there is a chance that if you try to update the Brain while offline you will run into the above issues.
