Adding Brain Hardware to a Project

Brain hardware is required in each controllable space. The Brain houses all of the programming information such as: the user interface, Macros, Events and anything else created within the Builder.

This article explains how to add a Brain to your setup.

Adding Brain Hardware in the Builder

1. Enter the Builder of the controlled space.
2. Select the Hardware tab from the left pane.
3. Click the menu icon to open the New Hardware Wizard.
4. Type a name for the Brain.
5. Select the Add Brain option.
6. Click Next.
   
7. Select the Brain type from the list.
   
8. Click Create.

A new Brain Gateway is created. The center pane displays an unprovisioned space with a picture of the selected hardware.
