When updating any Kramer device make sure that Power is not removed from the device during the update procedure. If Power were to be removed you could seriously damage the unit requiring an RMA to replace the defective device.


If a Power outage occurs during an update, you can attempt these procedures to try and repair the unit

  • Re-upload the latest firmware
  • Remove Network from the device and try to upload the firmware on a point-to-point connection
  • Add Network to the device and try to update firmware while unit is connected to active network
