Use Tabular PCC consolidate feature to automatically populate the PCC aggregated entity based on PCC cell and PCC core Tabular returns.

To begin:
1. click Consolidate > PCC Consolidation function in the ribbon.

2. The PCC Consolidation screen consist of 2 grids:

Return selection grid
This grid only shows all return with the same reference date and reference period type as the current return (ie annual to annual, quarterly to quarterly etc) . Select the return to be consolidated in this grid.
QRT selection grid
In this grid, choose which QRT in the current workbook should be consolidated into. By default all QRTs are included for consolidation, but user can filter the list by deselecting the checked box in ‘Include to consolidation’ column.
In ‘Combine’ coulumn user can select QRTs where wish to consolidate or append data. If this checkbox is not selected it will result in data being overwritten.
‘Overwrite Tabular Formulas’ column – option to overwrite Tabular formulas in the sheet
Then click run PCC consolidation button to proceed.

3. Live reporter will show information on the running process.

4. Once the process is done, a consolidation report will be created and opened.

This report will show inconsistencies across Cells and Core data e.g. same asset held but with different values for item title

Note: The results from the consolidation report do not have to be followed; it’s a by-product of the consolidation process but the process will still be complete if inconsistent data is found

Also, usage of the consolidation feature will be shown in the Action Tracker, so user will have detailed information on when consolidation was done, name of the user, detailes of consolidation process and error warnings if there were some.

The consolidated result varies depending on the type of QRT :
Static QRT – the value from the source workbook will be concatenated into the current return and formulas will be replaced with the new calculated value.
List QRT – the consolidation process adds the same number of rows from the source workbook into the current return and formulas like subtotals and interaction will not be replaced.
