This enhancement allows automatically create a vendor record for a worker. This enables

Feature management

This feature is enabled via the Feature Management workspace. The feature is called “(evergreen) Automatic vendor creation from employee”:

Workspace >> Feature management >> (evergreen) Automatic vendor creation from employee

HR parameters

Vendor records will be created automatically but will use the values set in this screen to complete the vendor record’s mandatory fields

Human Resources >> setup >> Automatic vendor creation

Worker to Vendor mapping

To configure the worker’s record to set up a vendor record, the “Create vendor automatically” button has been added to the Employee mapping screen:

Human Resources >>employee >> expense>> edit>>employee mapping and per diem rates

Definitions

• A per diem (Latin for ‘per day’) is a fixed amount paid by a corporate entity to a staff member to cover or recover “business expenses”. In the U.K., they have been rechristened ‘scale rate payments’ by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), Britain’s taxing authority.
