DDR

Overview

DDR has been refactored in this release to deal with the deprecated code.

Feature management and parameters

The DDR feature is controlled within the feature management workspace (Workspaces>Feature management). The feature is named (evergreen) Dimension default rules. The feature can be enabled using the Enable now or Schedule button.

The enabling of the feature surfaces the parameters in in the invoice tab (Modules>Project management and accounting>Setup>Posting>Dimension default rules).

On upgrade from 10.22 to 10.23, a data update will automatically take place with existing configuration and data being written into the new tables from those that have been deprecated.

Functionality

The DDR has been refactored due to the deprecation of code but has the same functionality as the previous releases. The functionality from a user’s viewpoint remains changed.
