By enabling this functionality, organisations can plan updates to position financial dimensions in advance, ensuring smooth transitions and better alignment with financial strategies.

- Scheduled financial dimension updates for positions: Users can configure future changes to position financial dimensions, ensuring updates are applied seamlessly on the scheduled date.

Configuration
To enable this functionality, activate the “(evergreen HR) Future changes to positions“ feature in Feature management.
How it works
- Navigate to the Positions screen.
- Select Changes timeline and click Manage changes.
- In the Future changes section, schedule updates to position financial dimensions for specific legal entities.
To perform the update of the financial dimensions, a job must be scheduled to run in the background. Navigate to Human Resources > Positions > Periodic tasks and execute Scheduled position updates. Set up a schedule so the process runs as a batch job, automatically updating the financial dimensions on the scheduled date.
This enhancement simplifies the management of position financial dimensions, supporting organisations in maintaining accurate and efficient financial records.
