Enhancements to extended timesheet narratives

Introduction:

evergreen introduced a preview feature in version 10.0.35, allowing for the expansion of timesheet external narratives to 1000 characters. In this release, the functionality has been extended to include new timesheet entries, as well as enabling the use of extended timesheet narratives in the billing guide report.

Feature Management:

The use of extended timesheet narratives requires a feature to be enabled. To turn this feature on or off, go to Feature Management, as follows:

Workspace > Feature management > (evergreen) Extended timesheet external comments (Preview)

Simplified Timesheets:

In the Simplified timesheet screen, users now possess the ability to enter up to 1000 characters in the External comments section of the timesheet line.

Daily Time:

The Daily time view will also reveal up to 1000 characters while presenting the timesheet external comments.

Billing Guide Report:

The billing guide report will now exhibit timesheet external comments, capturing entries of up to 1000 characters.

Billing Guide (Electronic):

Likewise, the electronic reporting version of the billing guide will now showcase external comments entries of up to 1000 characters in the Excel file.
