This enhancement introduces two methods to configure the responsibility fields on a project/matter, at contract and project level.

Contract responsibilities

Feature management

On the project/matter contract form, the visibility of the Sales manager, Project Manager and Project Controller responsibility fields are now controlled using feature management. Specifically, the feature to enable is “(evergreen) “Enable mandatory project contract responsibilities”

Project/matter responsibilities

Project management accounting module >> setup >>Project management accounting parameter >> Responsibilities.

Feature management

On the project/matter form, the visibility of the Sales manager, Project Manager and Project Controller fields are now controlled using feature management. Specifically, the feature to enable is “(evergreen) “Enable mandatory matter responsibilities”:

Workspace >> Feature management >> Filter (evergreen) Enable mandatory matter responsibilities

Parameter set-up

In the Legal product, these fields are all mandatory by default whereas in the ProServe product, none of them are mandatory. To provide more flexibility in either product, the mandatory set up has been parameterised using a new tab on the main parameter screen in the project/matter accounting module.

Project management accounting module >> setup >>Project management accounting parameter >> responsibilities
