Enhancements to global discounts

Introduction:

evergreen implemented global discounts in version 10.0.35, as predefined discounts that are automatically applied to all relevant invoices. In this release, the scope of the global discounts feature has been broadened to cover invoices for additional project/ types. Furthermore, the entities for importing/exporting global discount configurations are now available.

Global Discounts on Invoices for Fixed and Agreed Fee Projects:

Due to the nature of fixed and agreed fee projects/matters, global discounts will not be applied to any transactions related to these projects.

Global Discounts on Invoices with Billing Rules:

Invoices with billing rules will now experience the application of global discounts to their transactions, provided the customer or contract is configured accordingly.

Global Discounts Data Entities:

The import/export functionality for global discounts is now available through Data Management. The new data entities are also enabled for OData, allowing their use by the Excel add-in and other integrations.

The following data entities have been introduced in this release:

• Customer Discounts: Customer discount rule
• Project Contract Discounts: Project contract discount rule
