Sales and Headline Prices

Sales Price Grid

This Feature explains about the changes and newly added fields for configuring headline rate, discounted rate, and sales price.

Parameters:

Project Management and Accounting > Setup > Project Management Parameters > General > Hour Sales price

Sales Price deviation:

When you turn on the sales price deviation, user can configure the discounted rate and percentage rate.

A new form Headline rate(hour) is introduced to maintain the headline rates which is Valid for “All”. In Sales Price grid we will be able to configure the sales price Valid for “Table” and “Price group” with the discounted rate and percentage changes for sales price.

Sales Price Dimensions:

When user turn on the Sales price dimension parameter. We can reapply the headline rate. It will reflect in corresponding lines of Sales price hours. We can set the sales price hour lines as fixed and this cannot be change when we reapply the headline rate. Instead, a newline will be created if there is no date range for that as standard.

A headline rate and customer rate fields are introduced in hour journal, transaction and invoice proposal. This parameter will allow us to enable another control which is Hour special rates allowed.

So accordingly, we should configure the Financial dimension 1, Financial dimension 2, Financial dimension 3. These three dimensions what we select will be populated in the Sales price (hour) and Headline rate(hour) forms. When you select the resource in the sales price grid then the dimensions will be defaulted from the resource and prerequisite should be set for that.

Hour Special rates

This Hour special rate will enable a check box in Customer level and Customers which are enabled with this will be available for selection in sales price grid(hours). This is applied for the concerned project contract and project linked. When the check box is not enabled, we will not be able to setup sales price for the concerned customer, project contract and project.

Prerequisite:

Set the Default dimension rules to setup the resource dimension as default. This setup will make the financial dimensions to flow from resource to the transactions. Worker dimensions will be used as primary dimension in journals.

Headline rate(hour) New form

Project management and accounting>Setup>Prices>Headline rate(hour)

We can setup the headline rate and sales price and this reapply headline rate button is newly added.

Sales Price grid(hour) form

Project Management and Accounting>Setup>Prices>Sales price(hour)

In this form newly three dimensions fields will be visible when the sales price dimensions parameter is on.

User can select the dimensions which are defined in Sales price dimensions parameter.

Fixed rate check box – This will be enabled when Sales price dimensions is on and once this is checked the sales price lined will be marked as fixed. User cannot update when this is on and reapply headline rate will not allow user to make an update here.

This form will allow us to create valid for ‘Table’ and ‘Price group’ type.

This form will allow us to view all the types of configuration.

Hour journals

Two new display fields are introduced in hour journals under General tab.

Headline rate: Headline rate from Headline rate form

Customer rate: Sales price after the discount

This will be enabled when the two parameters are on Sales price deviation and Sales price dimensions.

Hour Transactions

User will be able to select the Hour transactions and when they click on General. User will be able to see the headline rate and customer rate.

Project > Manage > Transactions> Hour

Invoice proposal

User will be able to see the headline rate and customer rate in the lines when user create invoice proposal.

Reapply sales prices

Reapply sales price feature is used to modify the time entered in transaction level and need to make changes to its sales price in three different rates.

• Headline rate
• Calculated rate
• Entered rate

Headline rate

This rate is defined in Sales price grid form and based on the combination defined amount will be fetched in the transaction level of hour journal.

Calculated rate

Calculated rate is defined in Sales price grid form and based on the combination defined amount will be fetched in the transaction level of hour journal.

Entered rate

Entered rate is the rate which is modified after sales price is fetching automatically from the Sales price grid combination.

Note – This feature is dependent on Sales grid enhancement, please refer the sections for parameters and Headline setup form.

Invoice proposal form

Introduced button in existing reapply sales prices functionality.
