Enhancements for Hub parameters – 3rd party integration
As part of this enhancement additional sections are included to accommodate power app and third party related applications in the hub.
New tabs “PowerApps tiles” and “Third party tiles” are added in the Hub parameters form enabling users to define links, add description to the defined power apps and third party applications. Personalization allows users to define their frequently used Power apps and Third party links along with the admin created links
PowerApps tiles tab
Enables to configure frequently used power apps links, specify formats against each power app tile such as background color, text color, sorting order and upload image against each record using Image button.

Fields | Description |
PowerApp name | Define name to be appear on the Power Apps tile at Hub workspace. |
Power App url | Define the URL link to access the Power Apps at hub workspace. |
Visible | Mark this field to enable the Power Apps tile defined at Hub workspace. |
Allow user to modify | Mark this check box to allow user to modify the admin created records. |
Color | Select the background color of the Power Apps tile to be appear at hub workspace. Based on the color selected column will be updated with the color. |
Background color | This color code number will be automatically updated based on the selection of the color at Color field. |
Default text color | Select text color of Power Apps tile to be appear at Hub workspace. |
Sorting order | Define the sorting order for each Power Apps tile record at Hub workspace. |
Third party tiles tab
Enables to configure frequently used third party application links, specify formats against each third party tile such as background color, text color, sorting order and upload image against each record using Image button.

Fields | Description |
Name | Define name for the Third party tile to be appear at Hub workspace. |
Link | Define link to connect the third party tile to be appear at Hub workspace. |
Description | Define a description of third party tile to be appear at Hub workspace. |
Display value | Define a display value of third party tile to be appear under hub workspace. |
Allow user to modify | Mark this check box to allow user to modify the admin created records. |
Visible | Mark this check box to enable the third party tile record at Hub workspace. |
Background color | This is number will be automatically updated after select a record under “Color” field. |
Color | Select text color of third party tile to be appear at Hub workspace. Based on the color selected column will be updated with the color. |
Default text color | Select text color of third party tile to be appear at hub workspace. |
Sorting order | Define the sorting order for each record to be appear at Hub workspace. |
Enhancements at Hub workspace
A new Related information tab is added to the Hub workspace which contains two sections i.e., External links and Power apps.
All the third party tile records defined and marked for “Visible” at Third party tiles tab in Hub parameters will be appearing with the specified formats under Related information > External links.
All the power apps tile records defined and marked for “Visible” at PowerApps tiles tab in Hub parameters will be appearing with the specified formats under Related information > Power apps.

Note – Whereas user allowed to modify admin records such as visibility and sorting order and create new user specific records using personalization options. |

Clicking on links at tiles available under External links or Power apps results in opening of the url in the new browser tab.
Note – There are few open bugs for this development such as color, sorting order, unable to display full name for the link. |
