Overview
The “Auto Submission of Timesheets” feature automates the submission of timesheets to workflow, eliminating the need for manual submissions by fee earners/resources. This enhancement streamlines the workflow, saving time and reducing errors.
Feature Management
This feature can be made available to users by enabling the feature (evergreen) Auto Submission of timesheets.
Path: System administration > Workspace > Feature management > (evergreen) Auto Submission of timesheets
Periodic Process
A new periodic process “Auto Submission of Timesheets” has been created. This process will automatically consider the following for submission:
- Eligible Timesheets: All draft timesheets within the defined period.
- Completion Requirement: Only completed period timesheets will be considered for submission.
Records to Include Filter:
Users can specify one or multiple timesheets for submission.
- If no specific timesheets are defined, all draft timesheets within the specified period will be submitted.
- If users select specific timesheets from a dropdown, only those draft timesheets will be submitted for approval.
Background Processing
Users can choose to Run in the Background using a batch process for efficient operation.
