Modification of project status rules
New parameters are introduced to enable the parametrization of the creation of journals at an individual transaction type level. Users can control the creating and posting of journals for each transactions type i.e., Hour, Expense, Fee and Item.
Go to Project management and accounting > Setup > Project management and accounting parameters > Project status tab > Select project status > Project status rules
Fields | Description |
Create hour | Enabling this parameter will allow creating and posting of journal with transaction type hour. |
Create expense | Enabling this parameter will allow creating and posting of journal with transaction type expense. |
Create fee | Enabling this parameter will allow creating and posting of journal with transaction type fee. |
Create item | Enabling this parameter will allow creating and posting of journal with transaction type item. |
Note – These parameters are dependent on parameter Create journals. Once Create journals enabled only user can enable the newly added parameters. |
Project closure workspace
A new project closure workspace has been introduced with tiles and links to provide enhanced view and information to the users related to project closure process.
User can view information such as
- Tile with information of number of projects with Marked for closure status.
- Tile with information of number of projects with days since without any transactions posted.
- Tile with information of number of projects which are submitted and awaiting for write-off approval.
- Links to Project closure inquiry and Project closure periodic process.
Go to Project management and accounting > Workspaces > Project closure
