Enable simplified project budgeting to Team member license users

Introduction:

Users with a Team member license were previously limited to viewing simplified project budgeting details on the project/matter screen. However, in alignment with evergreen business processes, it is crucial for these users to configure this information as well. This release introduces a new screen that empowers Team member license users to edit simplified project details.

Simplified Project budgeting:

Configuration for simplified project budgeting is now available from the “Simplified project budgeting” button under section Plan > Budget in the project screen:

This newly introduced button provides identical functionalities to the simplified project budgeting section available on the project/matter screen.

Security Configuration:

To grant access to the simplified project budgeting screen, please ensure that users have been assigned the following security privileges:

• View only permission: Simplified project budgeting view
• Maintain permission: Simplified project budgeting maintain

These privileges are utilised out-of-the-box by the “Inquire into project master” and “Maintain project master” duties, respectively.
