Overview

This introduces an important enhancement in this release: This update enables more precise management of intercompany (IC) time postings by allowing the assignment of custom dimensions to clients and customers.

Front-End Configuration:

Parameter control: Users can now configure custom dimensions for clients/customers, providing flexibility and customization options to suit specific needs for IC timesheet reporting.

Navigation path: Go to Project management and accounting > Setup > Project management and accounting parameter > Financial tab

Functionality:

Custom Dimension Assignment: Custom dimensions can be assigned to the client/customer dimension, so that when a new client/customer is created, the dimension value is created with the client/customer number and subsequently populates the client/customer dimension.

Improved IC Time Posting Accuracy: By linking custom dimensions to your clients/customers, you’ll enhance the accuracy of IC time postings, which is useful for Intercompany reporting.
