Media Sync

Sync sends media to other systems on the network

Media is sent from the selected source system to the selected target systems:

Sync Settings:

Synchronize Media in Media Map only

Only media that is used in the media map will be sent.

Synchronize Media Map

Sends the media map as well as media.

Add new Media from this media Manager

If disabled, only deletions are synchronized. If Enabled all additional media will be sent.

Synchronize filenames

If enabled and a file on the destination system has the same ID as the source but a different name, the name will be changed on the destination.

Synchronize Notes and Tags

Syncs media file Notes and Tags with target system. Can either be set to “Merge with Target” or “Overwrite Target”.

• Merge with Target: Any Notes and Tags on the media on the source media will be appended after any already present on the target system. (No data is merged back to the source system.)
• Overwrite Target: Notes and Tags on the target system are completely overwritten by those on the source system. If the source file has no notes or tags, any notes or tags on the target system will be erased.

Delete Media not on this media manager

Deletes any media that are not present on the source machine.
