HippoLauncher’s Advanced tab contains tools to make system setup easier

HippoLaunch’s advanced functions are intended to be used only when the Engine and Zookeeper are not running.

Software Update

Remote Update

Install new software remotely on other Hippotizers on the local network.

System Settings

Display Settings

Opens the windows display settings dialogue. This is the recommended method for configuring outputs before starting the engine.

Network Config

Opens the windows network settings dialogue.

EDID Manager

Loads and unloads software EDID on supporting hardware.

Additional Tools

Mpeg Conversion

Opens the mpeg converter tool to automatically transcode mpeg based media libraries to FlexRes.

Zip Debug Files

Opens a file explorer to collate and compress all log files. Hippotizer support may request log files as part of diagnostic procedures.

TCP/IP Launcher

Creates a TCP/IP receiver to control the HippoLauncher show manager over a network.
