Membership is a formal connection between an individual or entity and an organization. It involves following the organisation’s rules in exchange for benefits like access, participation, voting rights, and exclusive privileges. Members usually pay fees, and memberships are common in clubs, associations, and groups, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose.

Membership eligibility, categories, fees, voting and responsibilities are outlined within the Supporter Club Constitution and some examples of these are:

  • Individuals must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for any membership category.
  • Life Saving Members (with certain conditions)
  • Supporter Members (with social privileges and specific qualifications)
  • Governors (elected based on special service to the association)
  • Foundation Members (with specific privileges and a one-time fee)
  • Temporary Members (granted under specific conditions)
  • Visiting Members (for non-residents visiting the district for over 14 days)
  • Members must renew their association membership annually
  • Certain categories of members have reciprocal rights to use club facilities in Queensland, subject to the host club’s discretion.
  • Membership fees are determined by the members at General Meetings.
  • Voting members over 18 automatically gain ordinary membership in the Association upon payment of fees.
Club Tip
Club Membership does sometimes not directly mean there will be a Supporters Club social membership, to check this, please contact your club administrator for further information.
