Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) continues to support the opportunities in which our members can recognise outstanding members within the organisation who continue to give up their valued time to Life saving.
Every year there are two types of awards where members can be recognised. These include Service Awards and Surf Life Saving Queensland major recognition awards.
Every Season each Branch will have an Awards of Excellence presentation with the winners from the Branch going forward to be finalists for the SLSQ Awards of Excellence. The SLSQ winners will then be finalists fort the SLSA National Awards of Excellence*.

In the Service Section under the Member Recognition page on the app, it lists a mixture of State and National Certificates/Awards that members can apply. For a full list of these and how to apply, refer to the Service Awards section of the SLSQ Club Management App.
The SLSQ Recognition section provides a range of supporting documents such as how to write a great nomination, a timeline of events and examples of what a good nomination will look like for the Awards Selection Panels.
