An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a mandatory meeting your Club or Branch holds every year to present and discuss financial statements and reports, and to elect or re-elect directors and officers.

AGMs are required under the Corporations Act 2001 for public companies and certain other entities in Australia. Private companies are not required to hold AGMs, but they may choose to do so as a way to communicate with shareholders and members.

Once the Annual General Meeting is completed, the nominated secretary will complete the minutes and the Minutes are required to be shared with relevant club stakeholder, Branch and State.
Branch will review the minutes and ensure the content is correct and voting members, motions etc were correctly listed.
