Confidentiality in meetings is essential for several reasons. It fosters trust, transparency, and open communication among participants. By maintaining confidentiality, sensitive information shared during meetings remains protected, ensuring the integrity of the club/Branch. It encourages honest discussions, respects privacy, and upholds legal and ethical obligations. Confidentiality also helps maintain a competitive advantage by safeguarding strategic plans and proprietary information.
After meetings, general information relating to operational activities or divisions can be provided to Club Members as required however key business decisions and high-level strategic actions should not need to be included.
