Requests for the Annual Leave-Home Leave can be submitted up to 3 months post facto and 12 months in advance.



The Annual Leave-Home Leave option will be displayed only if the staff member is eligible for home leave.



When entering the Annual Leave-Home Leave request on behalf of the staff member the Time Administrator/Time Senior Administrator will follow the Create a leave request procedures in the Annual Leave chapter and will select the Annual Leave – Home Leave option in the Type of Leave field. All other instructions remain the same. Remember, when submitted a request on behalf of a staff member also provide details of why you are creating and submitting the request in the comment box.





This submission is for approval of the TIME to go on Home Leave. Once the staff member has had the time approved by their manager, they need to submit a travel request for Home Leave through the Travel Portal. If the staff member cannot submit the travel request themselves, they need to request the services of the Travel Administrator.
