Leave requests that have already been approved by a manager are routed to the time manager for re-approval. If the request for deletion is to shorten the original leave request and the new dates that the staff member plans to submit overlap in part with the cancelled request, staff members or time administrators must wait until the time manager has cancelled the first request before a new request is submitted, otherwise the system treats both as overlapping requests and it will not be possible to submit leave requests of any type in ESS. Whenever an exception occurs due to overlapping requests, users should open an iNeed ticket for technical support and resolution.
