Some common signs and symptoms of work-related stress you may notice in yourself or others include:
- becoming aggressive, irritable, socially isolated or withdrawn
- experiencing panic or anxiety
- feeling tense, overwhelmed, unwell or unsafe
- frequently arriving late or avoiding work
- inability to focus or complete tasks
- out-of-character changes in behaviour or appearance
- racing heart or a tightening of the chest
- sleep disturbance
- weight or appetite changes.
