BEFORE user can use the schedule part of the appeal module they must set up the following…
1. Set up Hearing Officers
2. Set up EACH Officer’s Schedule
3. Schedule/Create Appeal
This process works the same for real and personal property accounts.
There are two ways to create an Appeal:
- Create an Appeal is from the account in the Assessment File
- Another way is from the Board of Equalization Tracker (must add account number).
Note: Some counties want to hook multiple accounts to one appeal. Currently this isn’t possible in LandMark because of the Excise Report and the county would need to break down according to Tax Area. Also the OTC 976 only has space for one acct.
