The Annual Inspection Count Report shows the number of accounts that have been inspected in a certain year for each ReVal Area and property type.

The annual inspection report is coded to create an index of parcels based on certain criteria:

  • Property Type = REAL
  • Account Status >0
  • Entrance Code = INSPECT
  • Deleted = 0 on the Entrance Record itself

Other things to consider:

  • If one account has two appraisal records, it counts each appraisal record.
  • It doesn’t filter out inactive appraisal records.
  • It includes fractional interests.

If user wants to look for all records in a certain VI Area that don’t have a current year date, user can run a query for that.

There are query packages that user can import in the appraisal file called No Entrance History (one for each VI Year).
(User will have to modify the year in the query string to the current year you are looking for.)

This query looks at the Appr Status = 1, Account Status = 1, the appraisal zone code and then a table count for the entrance date year. Be sure the entrance date year is correct on the query before running.

To print the Annual Inspection Count, from the Assessment file go to File—Print—OTC Audits—Annual Inspection Count

A pop-up box will appear. Enter the Inspection Year for the report and click OK to print the report.

The Report will then print.
