User/Group Permissions

Once parcel editing has been enabled, individual users or groups also need permission to preform editing.

Grant privileges to an individual user.

OPEN the User Profile module: System – System Tables – User Profiles

This window will open.

To Find User:
USE Find — User Name
OR
Browse Button to find user name

To Edit User:
CLICK Edit Button
UPDATE User Setup
SAVE

To Edit Restrictions Tab
SELECT the Restrictions Tab
CLICK Add button (upper right corner of the User Level Restrictions table)

The Item Control form will open.

MapAnalyzer’s ProgramID is 103.
SET the Item Type to Application
SET the Item Name to Access.

If the Access option is set to Edit, the user will be able to edit polygons but not add new layers or change MapAnalyzer’s core configuration.

To allow the user to edit polygons and change these configuration options, set this dropdown to Admin.

To allow a group of users these privileges, make these changes in the Group Profiles module by going to System – System Tables – Group Profiles and following these same steps.
