Overview

v2.0 included some changes to the way the Brain enters the Active state for endUser usage. Prior versions of the applications would go through a process to confirm Network access and could take upwards of 10 minutes for the Brain to enter this Active state and be ready for use. We have altered this process which is intended to vastly improve this timing for the Brain to enter into an Active state.

Improvements

  • Improved boot time of Brain when used in Offline environment. Expected boot time for routers that previously took ~15 minutes is now ~3 minutes
  • Introduced internal changes within the Brain that will handle switching between online and offline environments. This change will track when the Brain is removed from Network and will poll for Network activity during time that the Brain is in an Offline state in case there is a temporary outage
