The Brain Watchdog is code written into the Brain to prevent performance issues when the RAM is overwhelmed, the Brain is stuck in a boot loop and/or certain ports are not responsive. When the Watchdog detects an issue like the ones mentioned the Watchdog will perform a data reset on the Brain. This includes a clear of the data and devices cache, and a clear of the Brain log storage. Once the resets have finished a reboot of the Brain will occur and Control should be restored.

Note – The Watchdog will only be affective with Brains that are connected to an active network. The Watchdog will clear the cache storage of the Brain, thus prompting a new sync with the cloud server. If there happens to be corrupted data on the Brain, clearing the information and downloading the last synced data will get the Brain functioning properly.
