INTENT

The intent of the Gender Pay Equity Indicator is to reduce significant discrepancies in pay equity across gender identities.

METRICS

Level 1

  1. Organization has a written policy that documents its gender pay equity practices.

Level 2

  1. Organization has a written policy that documents its gender pay equity practices.
  2. Organization demonstrates a pay scale with a maximum variance in pay of 10% among gender identities within each of the organization’s pay classes.

Level 3

  1. Organization has a written policy that documents its gender pay equity practices.
  2. Organization demonstrates a pay scale with a maximum variance in pay of 6% among gender identities within each of the organization’s pay classes.

Level 4

  1. Organization has a written policy that documents its gender pay equity practices.
  2. Organization demonstrates a pay scale with a maximum variance in pay of 2% among gender identities within each of the organization’s pay classes.
