INTENT
The intent of the Gender Pay Equity Indicator is to reduce significant discrepancies in pay equity across gender identities.
METRICS
Level 1
- Organization has a written policy that documents its gender pay equity practices.
Level 2
- Organization has a written policy that documents its gender pay equity practices.
- Organization demonstrates a pay scale with a maximum variance in pay of 10% among gender identities within each of the organization’s pay classes.
Level 3
- Organization has a written policy that documents its gender pay equity practices.
- Organization demonstrates a pay scale with a maximum variance in pay of 6% among gender identities within each of the organization’s pay classes.
Level 4
- Organization has a written policy that documents its gender pay equity practices.
- Organization demonstrates a pay scale with a maximum variance in pay of 2% among gender identities within each of the organization’s pay classes.
