The intent of the Engagement Indicator is to encourage work cultures and environments where employees feel inspired and motivated, and are empowered to be successful and grow within the organization.

METRICS

Level 1

  1. Organization has a written policy that includes commitment to employee engagement.

Level 2

  1. Organization has a written policy that includes commitment to employee engagement.
  2. Organization has protocols in place for people manager38 engagement, including regular one-on-one check-ins between employees and their managers, manager training, and 360-degree performance reviews.
  3. Organization tracks employee retention and implements methods to understand the drivers of turnover.
  4. Organization reports an average score of at least 3 on the Engagement Survey.

Level 3

  1. Organization has a written policy that includes commitment to employee engagement.

  4. Organization reports an average score of at least 4 on the Engagement Survey.
  5. Organization makes clear career pathways and promotion policies available for all workforce members to access.

ALTERNATIVE COMPLIANCE PATH – Small Organizations (Two to 10 Employees)

Level 2
