Request for Ruling: This process is the means by which organizations request approval for an alternative pathway to meet Just Indicator requirements. Living Future will review all requests and issue determinations on approaches, devised strategies, or innovations that are not addressed by the existing guidance within the Compliance Details. More information on the submission process and contents is available in the Just Request for Ruling overview.

Living Future Membership: Living Future members are a global network of practitioners advancing the movement for regenerative buildings, products, and organizations. Membership provides options for deeper engagement within the Living Future community, such as:

Living Future Accreditation (LFA): LFA is the professional credential that recognizes and rewards proficiency in the most ambitious, advanced, and holistic sustainable design standards available. The achievement of LFA acknowledges your work toward making our communities socially just, culturally rich, and ecologically restorative. Once accredited, you will be eligible to fulfill the requirement under Imperative 20 – Education + Inspiration (LBC and Core certifications) that all teams have an LFA team member.
