ENGAGEMENT INDICATOR SURVEY METRIC SCORE
Participants should choose from the following responses to the statements in the Engagement Survey:
- Strongly Disagree = 1
- Disagree = 2
- Neutral = 3
- Agree = 4
- Strongly Agree = 5
All questions should include an “N/A” or similar response option.
To generate the score used for the Engagement Indicator survey metric:
- Step 1: Add up the numeric values corresponding to the responses for each question to get a total value for each question.
- Step 2: For each question, divide that value by the number of answers received (omitting any “N/A” responses or skips) for that question to get an average question score.
- Step 3: Once you have average question scores for each of the six tracked questions, add them together and divide by six to get the average Engagement Indicator survey metric score.
The average Engagement Indicator survey metric score may be reported as is (i.e., out to two decimal places) or rounded to the nearest 0.1 increment.
