Documentation Requirements

GENERAL DOCUMENTATION

The following list includes all documentation requirements applicable to any performance levels and paths for this Indicator. Organizations will only submit the documentation requirements relevant to their targeted performance level.

• CG-1 Charitable Giving Policy: Copy of written policy that meets Indicator requirements.
• CG-2 Donation Analysis: Data and calculations demonstrating compliance with Indicator metrics for the targeted level.
• CG-3 In-Kind Donation Documentation: Documentation of the approximate value of in-kind donations, such as pictures or descriptions of physical products/materials, and a brief narrative describing how value was determined.
• CG-4 Employee Participation Documentation: Documentation that employees are invited to participate and of the rate of employee participation in the process of selecting where to direct charitable gifts.
• CG-5 Charitable Organization Documentation: Confirmation of current status as a charitable foundation, government entity, or charitable 501(c)(3) organization or international equivalent.
• CG-6 1% for the Planet Membership Documentation: Document showing current 1% for the Planet membership level.
