Documentation Requirements

GENERAL DOCUMENTATION

The following list includes all documentation requirements applicable to any performance levels and paths for this Indicator. Organizations will only submit the documentation requirements relevant to their targeted performance level.

• WE-1 Workforce Empowerment Policy: Copy of written policy that meets Indicator requirements.
• WE-2 Input Protocols Documentation: Documentation of the three required employee input protocols (e.g., copies of forms, notifications of procedures, and samples of reports back to employees).
• WE-3 Workforce Empowerment Narrative: A brief (one- to two-page) narrative describing how the organization supports, encourages, and/or advocates for labor organizing with, or on behalf of, their employees (as applicable).
• WE-4 Employee-Governed Business Documentation: Documentation demonstrating that employees can impact organization governance (e.g., incorporation or policy documents).
