CALCULATION TEMPLATE
This worksheet includes a template for calculating compensation scale ratio. Organizations are welcome to use a different template as long as the submitted data meets the documentation requirements.
COMPENSATION SCALE RATIO
When calculating the compensation scale ratio 1:X, 1 signifies the lowest employee aggregate wage, and X signifies the highest employee aggregate divided by the lowest employee aggregate wage.
EXAMPLE:
- The lowest employee aggregate wage is $50,000
- The highest employee aggregate wage is $200,000
In this example, the compensation scale ratio is 1:4 ($50,000/$200,000).
