12.1. Simulate a BC, CM, or DR Plan

This module allows users to simulate a Business Continuity (BC), Crisis Management (CM), or Disaster Recovery (DR) plan. Upon submission, the form triggers the Plan Simulation & Validation workflow.

*Simulations allow users to test the effectiveness of their plans in a controlled environment without affecting live operations. This helps identify gaps, validate procedures, and ensure team readiness.

Simulating a plan mirrors the exact steps involved in executing one. Both the starter form and the associated workflow operate identically. The only distinction lies in labeling:

• Simulation forms are clearly marked as Simulation to indicate a test scenario.
  

• Execution forms are labeled Real Execution to signify an actual event response.
