Once a BIA request is submitted, the assigned user receives a new task in their Pending Tasks folder, prompting them to complete the assessment.

Clicking either the subject in the Pending Tasks folder or the button in the email opens the Complete BIA form.

This form is designed to assess the impact of potential disruptions on a business process, helping to identify critical operations and establish recovery priorities. It includes five interactive sections:

  1. Alternative Workarounds
  2. RTO & RPO
  3. Financial Impact
  4. Non-Financial Impact
  5. Disaster Impact

Additional Notes

  • The first tab in the form, titled Request BIA, is read-only and grayed out. It serves solely as a reference, providing key details about the process to be evaluated.
