The New Disaster Type form allows users to define and add new disaster types.

Creating a Disaster Type:

  1. Defining the Details

Fill in the relevant fields to define the disaster type:

  • Disaster Name: Enter a name for the disaster type (mandatory).
  • Description: Provide a description of the disaster type.
  • Key Contacts: Select one or more contacts associated with the disaster type.
    • This dropdown dynamically loads active users in the system.
  • Active: Keep this box checked to mark the disaster type as active, or uncheck it to set it as inactive.
  1. Saving the Disaster Type

Choose one of the following options to save your changes:

  • Save and Return: Click to save the disaster type and return to the main form.
  • Save and New: Click to save the current disaster type and open a new form to create another.
