The Scrigno section dedicated to the management of prepayments is available from the Front Office menu

Scrigno provided to the operator to be able to choose whether to treat the prepayment as a simple Earnest Money (non-fiscal), or to provide for this a real invoice or receipt of deposit (and therefore fiscal). To better explain the concepts, we divide prepayments into two categories:

  • The Earnest Money: we mean by this term prepayments of non-fiscal money, recorded in the system alone in terms of cash liquidity, and managed only as a form of partial or total payment of the final account. As they are not taxed, they are not included in the fees of the day. The total of the deposit does not affect the total amount of the final account issued at checkout.

  • Deposits: we mean by this term taxed money prepayments, recorded in the system with the issue of the ‘Advance Performance’ tax account. These prepayments are traced both in terms of cash liquidity and in the general fees on the day of registration. The total invoiced as Deposit affects the total consideration of the final account issued at check out.

The choice of the type of prepayment management carries out different activities during the account issue phase.
For this reason, we have chosen to differentiate management procedures from deposit management procedures.
